Micaela Chirif She is a Peruvian poet and author of children's books. He studied philosophy and then did a master's degree in children's books and children's literature. Three of his books have been featured in the annual White Ravens selection of the Internationale Jugendbibliothek in Munich. In 2013 he won the prestigious A la Orilla del Viento picture album contest. In 2017 he won the Cuatrogatos Foundation award and in 2019 he received an honorable mention from the Talking Pictures Award. In 2019 he obtained the Hispano-American Prize for Poetry for Children. It has been translated into English, Portuguese, French, Korean, and Japanese.
