Paula Alvarez She is a graphic designer by training, illustrator and assembled textile maker.
The production of series and mixing of techniques is the main characteristic as a process of creation and exploration. The themes, from a symbolic level, articulate recurring motifs that have to do with their close environment, the everyday, nature and the cycles of life, giving an account of the personal experience in living.
His illustration and textile works have been selected for different samples and catalogs: “Latin American Illustration 6”, 2017, Ai-Ap, New York; "Latin Energy. The best illustrations in Latin America ”, Universidad de Palermo, Buenos Aires, 2017 and 2018; In 2018 she was awarded the "Silver Dog", an international exhibitor award at the 9th "Salón Imagen Palabra Peru"; "Biennial of Design of Peru", El Callao, 2019; “All TOGETHER NOW! Tales of Unity ”, The Cheltenham Illustration Awards 2019, UK.
Currently Paula is dedicated to illustration for magazines, editorials, educational material, covers and products.
