Rafael Pombo

 

Rafael pigeon (1833-1912) was a Colombian writer, poet, and diplomat. He is well known for his anthologies of poetry for children and his texts for children. In 1905 he was crowned as a national poet, highlighting him as one of the most important Colombian poets of the XNUMXth century. Among his most popular children's fables are The poor old ladyThe bandit cat y The walking tadpole, among others.
