AUTHORS

Andres Charrier he studied sociology and anthropology for many years. Later, he began working on a small mammal research project at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, then he devoted himself to the study of amphibians. After learning about the reproductive strategy of Darwin's frogs, he decided to dedicate himself to herpetology (study of reptiles and amphibians). He is currently coordinating a long-term monitoring of the high Andean amphibians present in Farellones and La Parva. He also writes natural history books for children.

Xavier Constanzo is an illustrator with professional scientific training, focused on field work with wildlife. It offers scientific illustration services, scientific communication and personalized orders to know, admire and protect the organisms of nature.
