Miguel Donoso, Chilean, is a lawyer and doctor in Hispanic Philology from the University of Navarra (Spain). He has been a professor of Spanish Literature at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is currently a professor of Spanish Literature at the Universidad de los Andes, where he also works as a researcher in the areas of Spanish literature of the Golden and Colonial Centuries, with an emphasis on the early chronicles of the conquest of Chile. Pedro de Valdivia, founder of Chile (2010) is his first work with Amanuta.
Isabel Leaves studied Art at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He collaborates in various magazines and periodicals, but it is in the field of children's and young people's literature where most of his work is developed. She has illustrated several titles for Editorial Amanuta, such as Sabores de América and Gabriela, the traveling poet who won the Marta Brunet 2008 award and was selected on the IBBY 2010 Honor List.
