Amigos de balcón

De Patricia Fernandez Bieberach
Illustrated by Alexandra Acosta

Social skills: a book that shows us the importance of play between boys and girls, where skills such as emotional intelligence and sharing with peers are developed.

Living in a pandemic: Balcony Friends is the story of a boy and a girl who, like many, lived for months locked in their homes. They learned to value family, nature and above all friendship with others who were in the same situation.

By Patricia Fernandez: The author is a renowned child psychologist who is the author of several other Amanuta titles such as My body talks, my body feels y Empathy.

It is good to have friends who understand us, since any idea can grow and even become a reality. Children seek the company of their peers because shared play is part of development and socialization. This story tells us about friendship, about the communication established by two little strangers from their balconies in a city that has had to retreat. And how their enthusiasm can awaken solidarity among neighbors.
