Gonzalo Rojas (1916-2011) was a Chilean teacher and poet. He is considered one of the greatest Ibero-American poets of the 1992th century and received various recognitions such as the Reina Sofía Prize for Ibero-American Poetry and the National Prize for Literature (1997), the José Hernández Prize (1998), the Octavio Paz Prize for poetry and essays. (2003) and the Miguel de Cervantes Prize (XNUMX) in addition to twenty honorary doctorates from American and European universities.
