Gulliver

De Eugenia Perella
Illustrated by Ana Suarez

Gulliver's Travels It was first published in 1726. Its author, the Irishman Jonathan Swift, tells the exciting adventures of an English doctor who decides to cross great seas and discover extraordinary worlds.

Although the original book recounts four Gulliver's voyages to strange lands, here his experiences are told in the fascinating Lilliput, where beings so tiny he is a giant live, and Brobdingnag, where everything is monstrously large and he lives in constant danger.

Capturing children and adults alike, this detailed account of travel adventures was a hit from its first publication. The story also inspired dozens of literary adaptations and was made into a movie several times. It is believed that the author wanted, through his stories, to slide an ironic criticism of the European society of his time. Analysts believe that, in each travel story, Swift details different weaknesses and failures of the world in which he lived.

Cardboard book with rounded ends, so that it can be handled by children safely.
