From our book Flight of american birds We created this activity for boys and girls to let their imaginations fly and create their own birds, real or imagined. Cut out these legs and beaks, paint them, and draw bird bodies, glue or draw feathers, and add legs and beaks.
For thousands of years the inhabitants of America have dressed in what nature offers them. On Dress america Different peoples of America and their clothing, ornaments, jewelry, headdresses and hats are presented, all made with materials found in nature, and produced with skill and wisdom. In this activity we invite boys and girls to make their own creations, cutting out these character molds and decorating and dressing them, using pencils, papers, pens, etc. Then glue an ice cream stick to hold the character.
