This book narrates the creation myth aonikenk (tehuelche). It tells the origin of the earth and the story of Elal, son of the giant Noshtex. Noshtex is envious of Elal and goes after him to kill him. The animals come up with a plan to save Elal, which consists of taking him to Patagonia.
