Mi cuerpo habla

De Patricia Fernandez Biebarach
Illustrated by Margarita Valdes

This book is an invitation to the little ones to explore the different parts of the body through gestures and actions. Combing their hair, sticking out their tongue or looking at their navel, invite the child on each page to experiment with their own body. You can play alone or with someone, but the best is when everyone participates, either with friends or family. The illustrator, Margarita Valdés, adopts the point of view of the little ones with a subtle and delicate style so that they do not forget that the discovery of the world begins with their own body.

Cardboard book with rounded ends, so that it can be handled by children safely.

REVIEW

Knowing the parts of the body, how they work and how they are part of an articulated system, is a challenge that the child must overcome at each stage of development, so a nutritional accompaniment could make the difference between a positive self-esteem and a poor one. Good experiences teach us to accept and value our body. The first great physical challenge will be to learn to walk alone, which will be followed by a greater challenge, which is the control of the sphincters.
